CFJ's Michael Pangelinan has been elected to the Board of Directors and as Vice President of Public Relations of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Guam Chapter.
When Mike was put on the ballot for this position, he was asked to submit a 1-2 sentence response to the question “Why do you want to be part of the SHRM Guam Chapter Board?” His response was:“As an attorney, I have assisted companies in handling many difficult personnel matters. I want to be part of the SHRM board to further SHRM's mission of improving workplace conditions and helping businesses avoid missteps that often lead to employment related disputes.”
According to the Guam SHRM website: "We are an affiliate of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the leading voice of the human resources profession. With over 275,000 members internationally, SHRM is the largest, non-profit human resource association. Founded in 1948, SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters within the United States and subsidiary offices in China, India and UAE."
