CFJ's Dana Gutierrez, joined by Rose Ayuyu Morales of GTA and Joann Muna of Guam Community College, led a panel discussion on February 6, 2019 for the Guam Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) entitled "Beyond #MeToo . . . Putting Your Sexual Harassment Knowledge Into Practice."
According to the program brochure: "The #MeToo movement has renewed attention on sexual harassment in the workplace . . . In this interactive session, the presenters will be discussing and reviewing case scenarios to reinforce your knowledge of the law and your company's obligations to prevent sexual harassment in your workplaces. Through the review of case scenarios, we will discuss possible legal implications as well as best practices from a human resources perspective."
The discussion was attended by over 200 human resource professionals, attorneys, executives and managers. The interactive discussion allowed participants to join in the discussion, ask questions and share experiences.
