The partners and management team at Calvo Fisher & Jacob have been closely tracking developments relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the recommendations of government public health officials, we have instituted best practices for keeping our people safe, including social distancing, while continuing to provide uninterrupted service to our clients.
The firm will remain open for business, although all of our attorneys and staff in San Francisco and many in Guam and Saipan will be working remotely. The San Francisco office will be temporarily closed because the City of San Francisco issued a public health order on March 16 – at this point the strictest in the nation – requiring that all non-essential businesses close their doors for at least the next three weeks.
Leveraging our technology and our years of experience working across borders and time zones, we will continue to meet all deadlines and be responsive to client calls and emails. Please contact your CFJ attorney with any questions or concerns.
Our thoughts go out to all those affected by the virus in Guam, Saipan, California and around the world. Like you, we are very concerned about the health of family, friends and colleagues and are committed to working together with everyone in our communities to meet the challenges of the current crisis.
